Minnesota PELSB Renewal Course Series

Reviewer access note. These course pages are presented for evaluation by the PELSB Renewal Training Subcommittee and by Minnesota district continuing education committees. Each course opens fully in the browser with no login required for review, and each contains its own criterion-mapping table, primary source register, and version and provenance disclosure. Local continuing education committees retain approval authority for individual educators' clock hours.

How These Courses Meet Minnesota's Renewal Framework

Minnesota requires 75 clock hours for Tier 3 renewal and 125 clock hours for Tier 4 renewal, and the Legislature requires all teachers to evidence the mandatory requirement areas listed in Minn. Stat. 122A.187. Each course in this series:

Targets exactly one mandatory requirement area and maps its lessons, activities, and assessment items to the criteria on the PELSB Mandatory Requirements Review Form;
Is self-paced and offered on an ongoing basis throughout the year;
Requires completion of every applied activity, a case analysis, a capstone artifact, and a scored assessment before completion;
Provides a completion certificate listing provider, activity title, participant, dates, and total clock hours for submission to the educator's local continuing education committee.
